Frequently asked questions
A draft SKILL.md file. It starts with YAML frontmatter containing a kebab-case name and a one-sentence description that says when to use the skill, followed by When to use, Steps and Notes sections. An AI model writes the draft from your plain-English description.
SKILL.md is the file format for Agent Skills: YAML frontmatter with a name and a description, followed by Markdown instructions. Claude’s Agent Skills use it, and it is published as an open specification; the builder targets Lovable skills as well. Check the exact requirements of the product you install the skill in.
Treat it as a draft. Under Anthropic’s documented rules for Claude’s Agent Skills, the name must be at most 64 characters of lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, and the description must be non-empty, at most 1,024 characters, and say both what the skill does and when to use it. Then check that the steps match how the work is really done and try the skill on a few real requests.
Say what triggers the workflow, what input it receives, the steps in order, which systems it touches and what the output should look like. Descriptions can be 10 to 4,000 characters, and the three examples above the button show the level of detail that works well.
Your text is sent to a NexaMarTech function that passes it to an AI model and returns the draft; the function does not save it to a database. Even so, leave out secrets, API keys and personal data.
The Skill Builder writes instructions an assistant follows (SKILL.md). The GPT Connector Generator writes an OpenAPI 3.1.0 schema for a ChatGPT custom GPT Action, which describes an API the GPT can call.
