Frequently asked questions
Paste the URL of a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and the tester lists the tools it exposes. For each tool you can read its description, input schema and read-only or destructive annotations, call it with JSON arguments, and view the raw JSON response.
Standard MCP sends JSON-RPC 2.0 requests (tools/list and tools/call) as an HTTP POST to the URL you enter. Lovable MCP mode uses Lovable’s endpoints instead: a GET to /.mcp/list-tools and a POST to /.mcp/invoke-tool/ followed by the tool name.
Requests go through a NexaMarTech proxy that accepts HTTPS URLs only, does not follow redirects and sends no authentication headers, so servers that need an API key or OAuth will refuse the call. In Standard mode the tester calls tools/list directly without an initialize handshake or session ID, so servers that require initialization first may also reject it.
Tool calls run for real on the target server. Check the Destructive badge before invoking anything, prefer read-only tools, and only test servers and tools you are allowed to use.
Yes. The Test NexaMarTech MCP button loads our public MCP server, which needs no login and exposes blog search and free audit tools such as the AI readiness and DNS checks.
