Alex Morgan
Founder & Principal MarTech Consultant
15+ years building and auditing marketing technology stacks
Alex leads NexaMarTech's consulting practice and is responsible for how engagements are scoped, sequenced and measured. Most of that work starts the same way: a stack that grew tool‑by‑tool, lifecycle logic spread across four systems, and reporting nobody trusts. He helps teams replace improvised processes with documented architecture and predictable delivery so marketing, sales and finance finally speak the same language.
His focus is the unglamorous part of marketing technology — lead routing rules, deduplication, consent and data hygiene, and the handoffs between marketing automation and CRM. These decisions determine whether AI layered on top produces useful output or simply automates existing mistakes faster. Alex’s bias is to fix fundamentals first, then add AI where judgement is repeated often and measured objectively.
Before founding NexaMarTech, Alex led marketing operations and RevOps teams across B2B SaaS and professional services. That experience shows up in how he frames work: agree on the business outcome, instrument it, and stage changes so the team can adopt them without losing a quarter to disruption. He is pragmatic about tools, vendor‑neutral by design, and happiest when a client can retire a system after a consolidation project.
Alex writes about evaluation frameworks, buy‑versus‑build decisions, lifecycle design, and the intersection of AI with real‑world operations. His articles favour checklists and artifacts over opinion pieces — tracking plans, routing matrices, handoff SLAs, and decision logs that make audits painless. When he does write about models, it’s through the lens of deployment, cost ceilings, fallbacks and governance rather than novelty.
Recently he has been helping teams introduce AI‑assisted lead qualification, add reviewable generation steps into nurture programs, and move attribution debates from platform screenshots to warehouse models. Outside of client work he contributes to open specifications that make marketing systems more legible to AI assistants, and he maintains internal runbooks the whole team can improve over time.
